~Yule Logs~

 

Yule logs have been burned in various pagan festivals as far back as 5000 B.C., but around the 4th century A.D. the early Christians adopted the burning of Yule logs into their Christmas celebrations to symbolize the birth of Christ as the light of the world. Our colonial ancestors brought the tradition to New England from England. All of our Yule logs are made from New England birch decorated with a mixture of balsam, Port Orford cedar, incense cedar, noble fir, and white pine. Orders can be placed on-line, or you can print and complete our order form and mail, fax, or call to place your order. We will accept orders starting on November 1, 2010, and we will begin shipping orders on November 15, 2010.
