Rosa Rugosa (Beach Roses), Maine's most popular seaside perennial, is available in five varieties at Wallingford Farm. Our roses are available in 3 gallon containers.
Virginia Rose
Virginia rose is native to Eastern North America. Its pink flowers attract birds, bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
Rosa Rugosa (Beach Roses)
Rosa rugosa, commonly known as beach roses, originally crossed the ocean to New England from Japan in the 19th century. Found growing throughout Maine, they easily endure the salt air as well as the cold and wind of a Maine winter.
Drift Roses
A popular groundcover rose, drift roses bloom throughout the season. Smaller than beach or virginia roses, they are a great option for gardens of all sizes.
